Scheifele left Sunday's game with an upper-body injury and did not return. Barron was acquired from the Rangers in the Andrew Copp trade and has scored one goal with one assist in five games since reporting to Manitoba. He could make his Jets debut on Thursday after being recalled and joining the team in Toronto.

Connor tested positive at the rink this morning and will not be available for Wednesday's game in Buffalo. He's also in danger of missing tomorrow's game in Toronto and Saturday's game vs. the Kings. In addition to Connor, Nate Schmidt was also added to the COVID-19 protocol list on Wednesday.
