Kahkonen will start Tuesday vs. the Ducks.

Kahkonen allowed two goals on 46 shots in the Wild's win in Florida last Tuesday. It was a terrific performance from the rookie, who has started his NHL career at 2-0 while stopping 76 of the 80 shots (.950 SV%) that he has faced so far. Tonight he faces a struggling Anaheim team that has lost 12 of their last 15 (3-8-4) games while scoring 2.53 goals per game.

Hellebuyck will start Thursday in Detroit.

Hellebuyck stopped 31 of 33 shots in the Jets win over the Ducks on Sunday. Hellebuyck has been tremendous since mid-November, going 7-1-1 with a 1.95 GAA, .941 SV% and one shutout in his last 10 appearances (eight starts). Tonight he returns to his home state of Michigan to face a Red Wings team that has lost 12 in a row (0-10-2) and could be without three of their top-6 forwards. Hellebuyck is clearly the top goalie option on Thursday.

Hellebuyck will start Tuesday vs. the Stars.

Hellebuyck stopped all 24 shots that he faced in the Jets' shutout win in Anaheim last Friday. He was given Saturday night off but comes into Tuesday looking to build off of a tremendous month of November. He was 8-2-1 with a 1.85 GAA, .944 SV% and one shutout last month and is now tied for the NHL lead in Wins (13), second in SV% (.933) and sixth in GAA (2.23) on the season. In his first two starts against the Stars this season, Hellebuyck is 1-1-0 with a 3.03 GAA and .905 SV%.

Kahkonen will start Tuesday in Florida.

Kahkonen stopped 32 of 34 shots in the Wild's win in New Jersey in his NHL debut last Tuesday. The 23-year-old was 7-2-1 with a 2.47 GAA and .909 SV% when he was called-up, so he should continue to be a decent option while Devan Dubnyk is out. With that said, the Panthers have won four of their last five home games while scoring 3.80 goals per game, so it's not a great matchup for career start No.2.

The Red Wings have acquired Eric Comrie from the Coyotes for Vili Saarijarvi.

Comrie was originally a second-round pick of the Jets but was claimed off of waivers by the Coyotes during the preseason. Comrie has not appeared in an NHL game this season but has gone 4-0-0 with a 2.75 GAA and .900 SV% in four AHL starts. With Jimmy Howard hurt, Comrie could join the Red Wings immediately and serve as Jonathan Bernier's backup.

Hellebuyck will start Wednesday in San Jose.

Hellebuyck stopped all five shots that he faced after replacing Laurent Brossoit in the Jets win over the Blue Jackets last Saturday. Hellebuyck has been dominant in November, going 6-2-1 while ranking 10th in GAA (2.18) and tied for fifth in SV% (.937). In his first start against San Jose, Hellebuyck stopped 51 of 53 shots in a 3-2 win (Nov.1).

Hellebuyck allowed three goals on 34 shots in the Jets win in Tampa Bay on Saturday. Hellebuyck has gone 4-1-1 with a 2.13 GAA and .937 SV% in November and will make his league-high 17th start of the season on Tuesday. The Jets are scoring a lot more on the road but also giving up a lot more offence, leading to Hellebuyck going 4-2-0 with a 3.28 GAA and .912 SV% in six road outings.

Miller will draw back into the Sabres lineup on Tuesday.

Miller was a surprising scratch for the last three games but will replace Marco Scandella on the blueline on Tuesday. Miller has struggled offensively in his first season with the Sabres, failing to score a goal on 28 shots with four assists in 17 games.

The Panthers have recalled Dominic Toninato from Springfield (AHL).

Toninato appeared in three games with Panthers earlier this season before returning to the AHL. The 22-year-old forward has scored five goals with three assists (eight points) in 15 games with Springfield this season and will replace Dryden Hunt on the Panthers fourth line on Tuesday.

He's had a tough time on the road, going 3-2-0 with a 3.35 GAA and .912 SV% in five games.
