The loss snapped a brief two-game winning streak for Hellebuyck, who is 2-2-1 with a 2.94 GAA and .908 SV% in January. In his first start vs. the Canucks, Hellebuyck stopped 32 of 33 shots in a 4-1 win in early-November. The Canucks come in having won nine of 11 while averaging 4.00 goals per game.
With Jake McCabe returning from his upper-body injury, Miller will be scratched for the first time since New Year's Eve. He's had a tough debut season in Buffalo, scoring just one goal on 49 shots (2.0 SH%) with five assists (six points) in 32 games.
