The 23-year-old undrafted rookie is one of the NHL's most interesting and impressive stories this season but unfortunately, he failed to produce in his short showing with zero points, three SOG, six PIMs and a -3 plus/minus while averaging a decent 12:57 TOI per game.

Bains was recalled last week by Vancouver and could make his NHL debut on Tuesday against the Colorado Avalanche. The undrafted 23-year-old has enjoyed an impressive season in the AHL, scoring 39 points (9G / 30A) in 42 games with the Abbotsford Canucks.

Bains was an undrafted free agent, who is currently tied for the WHL points lead with 82 points (30G / 52A) in 55 games with the Red Deer Rebels.
