Eakin (knee) could return to the Stars’ lineup on Thursday.

Eakin has not appeared in a game this season thanks to an offseason knee injury, but he has been skating and could be ready to make his season debut on Thursday. Monitor Eakin’s status during the Stars’ morning skate on Thursday morning.

Eakin (knee) resumed light skating; expected to miss 2-to-3 more weeks.

Eakin’s original timetable was 5-to-6 weeks and today would mark the five-week mark, so he is behind schedule. Don’t expect to see Eakin until the middle of November. The Stars are really dinged up, so Eakin’s return will be very important.

Eakin will miss six weeks with a knee injury.

Eakin suffered a knee injury in Stars’ practice last Friday and will miss the first month of the regular season. Injuries are starting to mount for Dallas, but Eakin is expected to miss the most amount of time. Look for Mattias Janmark to shift to centre on their third line while Eakin is out.

Eakin (undisclosed) missed Wednesday’s practice, but should play Thursday.

Eakin is “banged up” and missed today’s practice, but is expected to be in the lineup on Thursday vs. the Predators. Eakin has not recorded a point in the last five games and has four points (2G / 2A) in 12 games this season.

Eakin practiced on the Stars top line with Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn on Monday.

Head coach Lindy Ruff said he is considering shaking up the lines for Tuesday's game, including putting Eakin on that top line. Seguin and Benn have no points and are a combined minus-6 so far. If Eakin gets moved up that should certainly help him produce and makes him a nice one-day fantasy league option.
