Schneider will miss at least two weeks with an MCL sprain.

Schneider suffered the injury when he got his leg tangled up with the post during Friday’s loss in Dallas. Schneider will be re-evaluated in two weeks, which means he will likely miss more than two weeks. With Schneider out, the Devils turn to Keith Kinkaid as their No. 1 option.

Schneider left Friday’s game after suffering a lower-body injury. Schneider was going post-to-post and got his right leg tangled up with the right post. He was helped off of the ice and it doesn’t appear as if he will be able to suit up for Sunday’s contest.
