Lindholm left Friday's game with an upper-body injury and did not return.

It's getting close to decision time on whether or not to burn Lindholm’s first year of his entry level deal. Lindholm’s recurring "upper-body" problems could make that decision a little easier on Carolina. Consider his day-to-day.

Lindholm played just 7:34 with a minus-1 rating yesterday. He went to the locker room briefly because of an arm laceration, but did return. He continued to practice on the first power-play unit this morning so he should be considered probable for tomorrow's game.

Lindholm was selected with the fifth overall pick in this year's draft. Lindholm has some of the best hands available in this year's draft. Keep an eye on Lindholm early in the season, he would be a great pickup (especially in a keeper league) if he sticks with Carolina.

Lindholm's game is said to be more of a two-way style so while GM Jim Rutherford expects Lindholm to be with the Canes when training camp starts, he isn't expected to have much fantasy impact.
