Vancouver has signed Jett Woo to a one-year, two-way contract extension.

Woo has been a staple of the Abbotsford Canucks (AHL) for the last four seasons and will remain in Vancouver's organization after signing a one-year, two-way contract on Monday. The 23-year-old was the Canucks 2018 2nd-round pick (37th overall) and had seven goals and 31 points in 62 games with Abbotsford last season.

Woo finds himself back with the Canucks just a few days after being sent down and will offer Vancouver defensive depth after Nikita Zadorov and Noah Juulsen were shaken up in Tuesday's loss to Colorado. The 23-year-old Woo has enjoyed a strong season with Abbotsford (AHL) up to this point, with five goals, 18 points, 41 PIMs and a -2 plus/minus.

With Carson Soucy (hand) being placed on IR, Vancouver recalled Woo from Abbotsford (AHL). Woo was the 37th overall pick of the Canucks in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft but has yet to play a game at the NHL level. The 23-year-old defender has 16 points (5G / 11A) in 42 games with Abbotsford.

Woo had seven goals, 14 assists, 96 PIMs and a +7 plus/minus through 68 games with the Abbotsford Canucks (AHL) in 2022-23 and has signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Vancouver Canucks. The deal is worth $775,000 if Woo were to play in the NHL and $100,00 if he stays in the AHL. The 22-year-old defensemen was the Canucks 2018 second round pick (37th overall).
