Matt D'Agostini News
D'Agostini is practicing with the Penguins for the first time suffering lower-body injury.

No word has been given as to when D'Agostini will make his Penguins debut. He will likely serve as a bottom six/depth forward. He isn't expected to have much of a fantasy impact unless he works his way into the top-6. He had three goals and three assists (six points) in 29 games with the St. Louis Blues and New Jersey Devils last season.

Winger Matt D'Agostini, who has an undisclosed injury, skated with Letang and conditioning coach Mike Kadar.

D'Agostini could return to practice next week. He would return to the lineup shortly after his return to practice. It is unclear where he fits into the Penguins lineup with the emergence of Chuck Kobasew.

The Blues have acquired a conditional fourth or fifth round draft pick in 2015 from New Jersey in exchange for forward Matt D’Agostini and a conditional seventh round draft pick in 2015.

D’Agostini, 26, has dressed in 16 games for the Blues this season posting two points (one goal, one assist) and two penalty minutes. Overall, the 6-foot, 198-pound forward has appeared in six National Hockey League (NHL) seasons, including parts of the last four with the Blues, accumulating 91 points (45 goals, 46 assists) and 115 penalty minutes in 254 career games.
