Murray missed the first nine games of the season with a broken hand that he suffered in the World Cup of Hockey. Murray comes into 2016-17 expecting to see a large number of starts, but it will all depend on his play. Last year he was incredible, going 9-2-1 with a 2.00 GAA and .930 SV% in the regular season and 15-6-0 with a 2.08 GAA and .923 SV% in the playoffs. Get him in your lineup.

Murray was 9-2-1 with a 2.00 GAA and .930 SV% in 13 regular season starts a season ago. Marc-Andre Fleury is off to a good start to the year, but Murray should rejoin the fold in the next week or so.

He will look to give the Penguins a 2-1 series lead tonight on home ice—he won’t his only home playoff start, stopping 38 of 41 shots in a win over the Rangers.
Murray left Saturday’s game in Philadelphia with an upper-body injury and did not return. The Penguins are already without Marc-Andre Fleury, so their game one starter could be Jeff Zatkoff if Murray and Fleury are unable to go. Murray’s injury isn’t overly serious, but he is day-to-day.
