





Murray left Saturday’s game in Philadelphia with an upper-body injury and did not return. The Penguins are already without Marc-Andre Fleury, so their game one starter could be Jeff Zatkoff if Murray and Fleury are unable to go. Murray’s injury isn’t overly serious, but he is day-to-day.




Murray allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Penguins win over the Senators on Tuesday. Murray has won six consecutive starts while posting a 1.98 GAA, .927 SV% and one shutout. The last time he lost it was against the Capitals in early March—he’ll face the Capitals again tonight. The scored three on 37 shots in a 3-2 final in that first meeting.

Murray allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Penguins win over the Flyers on Sunday. He won both games of the Penguins’ back-to-back and has won three in row while posting a 1.95 GAA, .929 SV% and one shutout. Tonight he will take on a Senators team that has lost four of six—Murray is 3-1-0 wit ha 1.26 GAA and .952 SV% on the road.



Murray stopped 31 of 33 shots in the Penguins win over the Hurricanes on March 17th. Marc-Andre Fleury has started the last five games, but Murray will start vs. the Sabres tonight. The 21-year-old netminder has gone 4-2-1 with a 1.85 GAA and .935 SV% since being recalled and is 2-1-1 with a 1.97 GAA and .933 SV% on home ice.

Murray allowed one goal on 18 shots in the Penguins win over the Devils on March 6th. Marc-Andre Fleury started the last four games, but will get the night off tonight vs. the Hurricanes. Murray is 3-2-1 with a 1.82 GAA and .934 SV% this season, but one of those losses came against Carolina in his NHL debut—he allowed two goals on 26 shots in a 2-1 loss that night.

Murray allowed three goals on 37 shots in the Penguins loss in Washington on Tuesday. With Marc-Andre Fleury starting last night, Murray will go tonight in New Jersey. Murray is 2-2-1 with a 1.98 GAA and .933 SV% in the NHL this season and faces a Devils team that has lost seven of their last nine.

Murray, 21, has gone 20-9-1 with a 2.10 GAA and .931 SV% with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL). He has appeared in four games with the Penguins this season, going 2-1-0 with a 1.72 GAA and .938 SV%. With Marc-Andre Fleury starting last night, Murray will draw a tough assignment tonight in Washington.

Murray, 21, was recalled to serve as Marc-Andre Fleury’s backup on Sunday, but was sent back to WBS this morning. He is 19-9-1 with a 2.11 GAA and .931 SV% in 30 AHL games this season.
