The Ducks signed winger Nikita Nesterenko to a one-year, two-way contract.

Nesterenko was a fringe roster player for the Ducks in 2024, spending most of the year developing in the AHL. The 2019 sixth-round pick had 37 points (16G / 21A) in 70 games with San Diego (AHL) and had one goal in three games with the Ducks. Nesterenko should make a push for a roster spot out of training camp this fall.

Nesterenko was the sixth-round pick of the Minnesota Wild in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft and played the last three games with the Ducks, scoring one goal. The 22-year-old played nine games with the Ducks last season and has 33 points (15G / 18A) in 63 games with the San Diego Gulls (AHL).

Nesterenko missed the Ducks' previous game vs. Colorado due to an illness but will be back in the lineup Tuesday as they take on Vancouver. The 21-year-old has a goal, 16 SOG, and a -3 plus/minus through seven games this season prior to his illness.

Nesterenko signed with the Ducks just last week after compiling 13 goals, 21 assists, and 18 PIMs through 36 games played with Boston College (NCAA) and will make his NHL debut Tuesday vs. Calgary. The 21-year-old was a 2019 sixth-round pick (172 overall).

Neterenko had 13 goals, 21 assists, 18 PIMs and a +6 plus/minus through 36 games this season with Boston College (NCAA) and has been signed to a three-year entry-level contract Tuesday. He is expected to join the Ducks right away and draw into their lineup immediately.
