Stastny (Lower Body) is expected to play Saturday.

Stastny missed practice friday but was back on the ice for Saturdays morning skate and is expected to in the line up vs the Flames. Stastny scored in his Blues debut and with snipers Vladimir Tarasenko and Alex Steen on his wings, Stastny is set up for another good year so get him in your line up when he's healthy.

Stastny (lower-body) is not on the ice for the Blues practice on Friday.

Stastny was shaken up on a hit by Dan Girardi in last night's loss vs the Rangers. He stayed in the game and said that he was fine after the game. It appeared as if he got caught in the quad and could be suffering from a charlie horse, an injury that tends to tighten up the following day. Expect Stastny to play on Saturday vs. the Flames.

Stastny (back) will play tonight in Montreal.

Stastny has missed the last four games with a back injury, but will return tonight. Stastny will return to his regular spot between Gabriel Landeskog and Nathan MacKinnon. He has tallied 20 goals and 27 assists (47 points) with a plus-10 rating in 58 games this season.

Stastny (back) could be back in the Avs' lineup on Tuesday.

Stastny has missed the last four game after suffering a back injury on March 8. The Avalanche won three of the four games, but getting Stastny and his 47 points (20G / 27A) will certainly bolster their lineup. Monitor his status throughout Tuesday afternoon.

Stastny has left Saturday's game with a back injury and will not return.

Stastny played just one shift before departing for the dressing room. The Avalanche announced that his return was questionable, but with just five minutes left in the third period, it is safe to say he will not be back. We will likely receive an update following the game or within the next 24 hours.

We won’t know until closer to game time whether Paul Stastny will be in the lineup for the Avs against the New York Rangers tonight.

The Avalanche did not have a morning skate today at Madison Square Garden, so there were no updates given on either player’s status, just that more would be determined once the team gets to the rink later.

Stastny (leg) "probably will play Saturday in Nashville," Patrick Roy said. "It's still day to day, but the target is Nashville. I could be wrong by one game."

Stastny will miss his second straight game tonight but could be back in the lineup on Saturday. The Avalanche are dealing with a lot of injuries right now, but Stastny is the biggest of them all. Monitor his status as Saturday approaches.

No update on Paul Stastny (leg) today, but I’m hearing he’s OK. Might be questionable for Tuesday’s game, but we’ll know for sure tomorrow at practice.

Stastny was forced to leave the game after playing just 10:21 in Saturday's win over the Wild. Stastny has had a great season to-date and this would be a tough loss for the Avalanche to deal with. Since the calendar switched to 2014, Stastny has two goals and seven assists in six games. Monitor his status on Tuesday.
