The Islanders have placed Pierre-Marc Bouchard on waivers.

Bouchard has been placed on waivers presumably to clear roster space in order to recall Ryan Strome. The Islanders are in desperate need of offence and Strome was the 5th overall pick in 2011 and leads the AHL with with 33 points (9G / 24A). Bouchard has not recorded a point in the last eight games and has just four goals and five assists in 28 games. He signed one-year, $2 million contract in the offseason and could be claimed by a team in need of forward depth .

Pierre-Marc Bouchard will return to the Wild's lineup after missing two games because of a broken nose. He'll play on a line with Matt Cullen and Dany Heatley, and at least in the skate, they were fun to watch.

Bouchard draws back in after taking a questionable hit from Zach Bogosian. Butch has five goals and 18 points in 29 games before getting hurt and should be in good position to produce on the top line.

No Devin Setoguchi (knee), nor obviously Guillaume Latendresse (concussion), nor Pierre-Marc Bouchard (nose, facial soreness).

On Tuesday, Head Coach Mike Yeo looked for a spark and flip-flopped Pierre-Marc Bouchard with Setoguchi. Yeo could go back to the original tonight, but he seems to have reached the point of looking for the right mix.

Yeo could switch Bouchard and Setoguchi over the course of the game but the team's lines will at least start as is. Bouchard has two assists through his first four games with a minus-2 rating.

Bouchard returns to the lineup and should play LW on the second line. In his only game played this season, Bouchard posted two assists. Look for the former 8th overall pick to post at least 30 assists this season.
