Elliott played just 8:45 TOI on Wednesday but returns to Belleville, where he has one goal and three assists in eight games this season.
Elliott was recalled on Saturday but sat as a healthy scratch for the last two games. Elliott has one assist in two games with the Senators and four points (1G / 3A) in eight AHL games this season.
Elliott has picked up one goal and three assists in eight games with Belleville since being acquired from the Penguins. The 27-year-old has 25 points (8G / 17A) in 86 career NHL games.

Elliott appeared in two games with the Predators while Ryan Ellis (upper-body) was sidelined. Ellis skated the last two days and appears ready to return tonight, so Elliott returns to the AHL. The 25-year-old has six goals and 11 assists (17 points) in 29 games with the Admirals.
Elliott, who didn’t play on Friday has missed the Coyotes last two practices and could be in danger of missing Thursday’s game as well. Elliott has served a healthy scratch for the majority of the season.
There is no word why Elliott is suddenly in the lineup, but it will be his third game in a Coyotes’ uniform. He has no points, six shots and a minus-1 rating in the first two.

To make room for Elliott on the 23-man roster, fellow blue-liner Ryan Wilson was placed on injured reserve, retroactive March 14. Elliott previously played five games with the Avs this season, and struggled. He had no points and was minus-4.
