Mason will start Tuesday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Mason gave up six goals n 45 shots in the Jets’ 6-3 loss in Calgary on October 7th. Connor Hellebuyck started the last three games, but they’ll go with Mason against the Blue Jackets tonight. Mason has been terrible in his first two starts with the Jets, giving up 11 goals on 65 shots (.831 SV%).

Mason surrendered six goals on 45 shots in the Jets’ loss in Calgary last Saturday. Connor Hellebuyck started the last two games, but Mason will start tonight vs. Carolina. His first two starts with the Jets have been terrible—Mason comes in having allowed a combined 11 goals on 65 shots (.831 SV%).

Mason was yanked after allowing five goals on 20 shots in the Jets’ 7-2 opening night loss to the Maple Leafs. His Jets’ career certainly didn’t get off to a good start but Paul Maurice will show some confidence in Mason by going back to him tonight in Calgary. Both teams had embarrassing losses in their openers, so we’ll see who shows up tonight.

Following four and a half seasons in Philadelphia, Mason signed with the Jets this offseason and will hope to improve on his 2.66 GAA and .908 SV% from a year ago. Winnipeg ranked 27th in the NHL in goals against last season, so they will need much better goaltending if they want to be a playoff team this year. Mason draws a brutal matchup for his Jets debut as he goes up against the Maple Leafs, who were fifth in the NHL in scoring last year.

After four and a half years in Philadelphia, Mason is on his way to Winnipeg. Like most goalies, he can be volatile from year to year and was 26-21-8 with a 2.66 GAA and .908 SV% in 58 games with the Flyers a season ago. With Ondrej Pavelec now in New York, Mason will likely share the crease with Connor Hellebuyck to start the 2017-18 season and they’ll go from there.

Mason allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Flyers’ shootout win over the Senators on Tuesday. Mason has won his last three starts while posting a 1.62 GAA and .938 SV%. Tonight he will try to record his 25th win of the season for the third time in his career—he is 1-1-0 with a 2.49 GAA and .926 SV% vs. the Islanders.

Mason allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Flyers’ win in Pittsburgh on Sunday. Mason has won three of his last four starts while posting a 2.02 GAA and .929 SV%. He’ll face the Senators for the third time this season tonight and he comes in having gone 1-0-1 with a 1.92 GAA and .915 SV% in the first two meetings.

Mason allowed three goals on 33 shots in the Flyers’ loss in Winnipeg on Tuesday. Mason has gone 4-4-1 with a 2.51 GAA and .913 SV% in nine March starts and tonight he will face the Wild for the second time. He didn’t start the last meeting, but stopped 19 of 20 shots after coming in in relief and led the Flyers to a 3-2 win.

Mason allowed three goals on 22 shots in the Flyers’ win over the Hurricanes on Sunday. He has played pretty well in March, going 4-3-1 with a 2.44 GAA and .914 SV% in eight starts. Tonight he will face a banged up Jets team on the road, where he is 7-13-4 with a 3.07 GAA and .892 SV% this season.

Mason stopped all 23 shots that he faced in the Flyers’ shutout win over the Penguins last night. The Flyers are trying to stay alive in the playoff race, so they’ll go back to Mason tonight in New Jersey. Mason is 4-2-0 with a 2.44 GAA and .919 SV% on no days rest this season.

Mason allowed four goals on 28 shots in the Flyers’ loss to the Blue Jackets on Monday. Mason will start for the seventh time in eight games after going 3-2-1 with a 1.97 GAA, .935 SV% and one shutout in the previous six. Tonight he faces the Penguins for the second time—he was pulled after allowing three goals on 13 shots in his first start vs. Pittsburgh.

Mason has gone 3-1-1 with a 1.56 GAA, .949 SV% and one shutout in his last five starts and tonight he will get the net for the sixth time in seven games. Tonight he’ll face his former team for the second time this season—he made 23 saves in a 2-1 OT loss in the first.
