Mason gave up three goals on 34 shots in the Flyers’ win in Buffalo on Tuesday. Michal Neuvirt gave him the night off, but Mason starts this afternoon having won three of his last four with a 1.45 GAA, .954 SV% and one shutout. He made 45 saves in a shootout win in his only start vs. the Bruins.

Mason has gone 2-1-0 with a 0.96 GAA, .969 SV% and one shutout in his last three starts, so he’ll make his fourth consecutive start tonight in Buffalo. He made eight saves in 29 minutes of play in his only action vs. the Sabres this season.

Mason stopped 39 of 40 shots in the Flyers’ shootout win over the Panthers on Thursday. Mason has been exceptional in his last two starts, winning both while stopping 72 of 73 shots (.986 SV%). Tonight will be his third start vs. the Capitals—he is 1-1-0 with a 2.76 GAA and .873 SV % in the first two.

Mason stopped all 33 shots that he faced in a 4-0 shutout win over the Avalanche on Tuesday. It was a nice return to the crease for Mason, who obviously start again tonight. The 28-year-old has gone 2-0-0 with a 1.44 GAA and .964 SV% in his first two starts against the Panthers.

Mason allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Flyers’ loss to the Islanders on February 9th. Michal Neuvirth started the last six games, but Mason gets the nod vs. the Avalanche on Tuesday. He stopped 26 of 29 shots in a 4-3 win in his first start vs. Colorado and is a strong option again tonight.

Mason allowed five goals on 28 shots in the Flyers loss to the Hurricanes on January 31st. Michal Neuvirth started the last three games, but Mason will go tonight with Neuvirth feeling ill. Mason stopped 36 of 38 shots in a 3-2 OT win in Brooklyn in late-January and he’ll face them again tonight on home-ice.

Mason stopped all 34 shots that he faced in the Flyers’ shutout win in New York last Wednesday. Michal Neuvirth started on Thursday, but Mason will go again tonight in Carolina. He appears to have turned a corner having stopped 70 of the last 72 shots (.972 SV%) he has faced en route to two straight victories.

Mason allowed two goals on 38 shots in the Flyers’ overtime win in Brookylyn on Sunday. It was Mason’s first win in over on month and moved him to 1-3-2 with 3.49 GAA and .871 SV% in the month of January. Tonight he faces the Rangers for the third time—he has gone 0-2-0 with a 3.58 GAA and .860 SV% in the first two meetings.

Mason is 4-8-3 with a 3.08 GAA and .890 SV% on the road this season, so while the matchup looks appealing, there are better options tonight.

Mason allowed four goals on 27 shots in the Flyers’ loss to the Rangers on Wednesday. Michal Neuvirth started last night, so Mason will go tonight vs. his former team in Columbus. Mason has lost five consecutive games while allowing a combined 15 goals on 96 shots (.844 SV%). He is a risky start against a very good Blue Jackets team.

Mason allowed three goals on 25 shots in the Flyers’ loss in Anaheim on Sunday. John Gibson was excellent at the other end of the ice and led to Mason’s fourth straight loss. During that stretch, Mason has an ugly 4.05 GAA and .841 SV%, but will remain in goal tonight vs. the Rangers—he allowed three goals on 23 shots in a 3-2 loss in his first start vs. New York.

Mason allowed five goals on 24 shots in the Flyers’ loss in St. Louis on Wednesday. It was a rough outing for Mason, who has lost four of his last five games while posting a 2.70 GAA and .906 SV%. Tonight he will face a Flyers team that has won seven of their last eight contests.

Mason was pulled after he allowed two goals on eight shots in the Flyers’ loss in New Jersey last Thursday. Mason has dropped three of his last four starts despite posting a strong 2.01 GAA and .933 SV%. The losses can’t be pinned on Mason, who has had an excellent month, posting a 8-2-1 record, 2.27 GAA and .923 SV% in December.

Mason allowed two goals on 38 shots in the Flyers’ win over the Capitals last night. Despite the heavy workload, Mason will go again tonight in New Jersey. He has been simply outstanding in the month of December, rattling off eight wins in 10 starts while posting a 2.15 GAA and .928 SV%. He is a must-start against a struggling Devils squad.
