With Nick Bjugstad close to returning to the Wild lineup, Rask was waived and sent to the minors to clear room on the roster. The emergence of Matt Boldy and Connor Dewar had pushed Rask to a reserve role.
Rask has one goal on seven shots in five games this season, playing just 9:35 TOI on Sunday. He'll be replaced by Rem Pitlick, who will make his Wild debut in Vancouver.
