





Husso was recalled to backup Jake Allen on Monday and he could be recalled again to do the same on Thursday, but that is all dependant on Carter Hutton’s health.

Husso was Jake Allen’s backup on Saturday but went down to get a start with San Antonio, where he posted a 21-save shutout on Sunday, and he returns to backup Allen tonight in Anaheim. Husso’s recall means that Carter Hutton still is not ready to go.

Vatrano has been sidelined since February 6th with a lower-body injury, but it looks like he’ll play tonight vs. the Rangers. Vatrano appeared to have a bright future in Boston but was passed on the depth chart by players like Jake DeBrusk and Danton Heinen. He will make his Panthers debut with 20 goals and 11 assists (31 points) in 108 career NHL games.

Mrazek started playing well in Detroit before the trade and has continued that in Philadelphia, wining his first three starts with his new team while posting a 1.30 GAA, .947 SV% and one shutout. Tonight he’s a great option vs. a Hurricanes team that has lost six in a row (0-4-2).

Johnston has picked up three goals and two assists in 12 games with the Islanders. Following the acquisition of Chris Wagner, Johnston will take a seat tonight in Montreal.

He will look to go 3-for-3 tonight vs. a Montreal team that is without Carey Price and has lost seven of their last eight (1-4-3).

Trouba has been out since January 25th and appears to be on target for his original mid-March timeline. Trouba has picked up three goals and 17 assists (20 points) in 50 games before getting hurt and will be a huge boost for a Jets team with Stanley Cup aspirations.
