The Bruins have recalled Frank Vatrano from Providence (AHL).

Vatrano, 22, has split his time between Boston and Providence during the 2015-16 campaign. He has registered six goals and one assist (seven points) in 30 games in Boston and leads the AHL in goals with 33 in 33 games. In addition to the 33 goals Vatrano has added 16 assists for 49 points, which is good for third on the team.

Gibson will start Wednesday vs. the Rangers.

Gibson allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Ducks loss in Colorado last Wednesday. Gibson has lost his last two starts while allowing a combined four goals on 58 shots (.931 SV%). The Ducks goalie rotation will continue with Gibson expected to get the next two starts—the 22-year-old is 11-5-2 with a 1.84 GAA and .929 SV% on home ice this season.

Gibson stopped 31 of 32 shots in the Ducks shootout loss to the Capitals on Monday. Gibson and Frederik Andersen have been alternating two starts each, so Gibson will go tonight in Colorado. Gibson has gone 4-0-1 with a 1.74 GAA and .932 SV% in his last five starts. He has not faced the Avalanche this season, but has gone 5-3-1 with a 2.38 GAA and .905 SV% on the road.

Gibson allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Ducks’ win over the Canadiens last Wednesday. Gibson has won four straight games while posting a 1.96 GAA and .921 SV%. Gibson and Frederik Andersen have been splitting starts and tonight is Gibson’s turn in the rotation. He faces a Capitals team that has won seven of 10.

Sustr will miss his second straight game with an undisclosed injury, which means that the Lighting will go with six defensemen, which is normal for most teams, but the Lightning tend to roll with seven defenseman more often than not. Sustr is day-to-day.

Gibson allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Ducks win over the Kings on Sunday. Gibson has won three in a row while posting a 2.00 GAA and .919 SV%. Along with Frederik Andersen, the Ducks possess a very strong duo in goal, but it will be Gibson who faces the Canadiens tonight. Gibson is 10-5-1 with a 1.91 GAA and .926 SV% at the Honda Center this season.

Gibson starts Sunday vs. the Kings.

Gibson allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Ducks win over the Flames last Sunday. Frederik Andersen started the first two games of the week, but Gibson will wrap it up tonight vs. Los Angeles. Gibson has gone 1-1-0 with a 2.51 GAA and .902 SV% in his first two starts against the Kings this season.

The Maple Leafs have acquired Alex Stalock, Ben Smith and a 2018 conditional 4th round pick from the Sharks for James Reimer and Jeremy Morin.

Stalock, 28, has gone 3-5-0 with a 2.94 GAA and .884 SV% with the Sharks this season and 2-0-0 with a 1.96 GAA and .930 SV% with the Barracuda (AHL). With the Sharks looking to make a playoff run, they needed a more reliable backup netminder, so they moved Stalock in order to acquire Reimer.

Gibson allowed two goals on 21 shot sin the Ducks win in Vancouver on Thursday. Gibson has gone 2-1-0 with a 3.19 GAA and .883 SV% since the All-Star break. Tonight will be his third start vs. the Flames—he has gone 2-0-0 with a 0.55 and a .971 SV% in his first two starts against Calgary.

Gibson stopped 16 of 17 shots before getting hurt in the Ducks win in Chicago last Saturday. Gibson is 1-1-0 with a 3.68 GAA and .877 SV% in three games since the All-Star break. Tonight he will make his second start vs. the Canucks—in the first meeting he stopped all 25 shots that he faced to record his first shutout of the season.

Gibson missed the last two games with an upper-body injury that he suffered last Saturday in Chicago. Gibson’s return was foreshadowed by Anton Khudobin’s return to San Diego (AHL) on Wednesday. He shut the Canucks out earlier in the year, so don't be surprised if he gets the nod tonight.

Stalock allowed three goals on 17 shots in Sharks shootout loss to the Senators back on January 18th. Martin Jones has started the last eight games, but Stalock looks to go tonight vs. the Flames. Stalock has gone 1-2-1 with a 2.18 GAA and .899 SV% on home ice this season, but makes for a decent spot-start tonight.
