It seems like forever ago that Kassian was selected No.13 overall and after a few tough seasons and stops in Buffalo, Vancouver and Montreal, Kassian seems to have found a home in Edmonton. In his second season with the Oilers, the power-forward had 23 points (7G / 17A) in 79 games and added three more goals in 13 playoff games.
Dauphin was recalled on Sunday but did not draw into the lineup on Monday. He heads back to Tucson with Christian Fischer coming up.
Galchenyuk has missed the last three games with a knee injury, but will return to the Canadiens’ lineup on Thursday. After returning from his previous knee injury, Galchenyuk registered two goals and two assist in five games before getting hurt again. Galchenyuk skated David Desharnais and Andrew Shaw on Wednesday.
Galchenyuk will miss his second straight game after he re-aggravated a knee injury vs. the Sabres on Saturday. Monitor Galchenyuk’s status when the Canadiens return from the All-Star break.
Ladd has missed the last four games with an upper-body injury, but will draw in for Anthony Beauvillier tonight. Ladd has had a tough debut season in Brooklyn—he comes into Tuesday with eight goals and four assists (12 points)in 41 games this season.
Galchenyuk previously missed 18 games with a knee injury and has reportedly re-aggravated it and will not play on Tuesday. The injury is believed to have occurred on Saturday vs. the Sabres and the Canadiens are calling it a “minor injury” to the same knee. Head coach Michel Therrien added that Galchenyuk did not come back too soon and is day-to-day.
Ladd will miss his third consecutive game with an upper-body injury and is considered doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Flyers.
Dauphin appeared in four games and was a healthy scratch for two during this call-up. Overall, he has two goals and one assist in 24 games with the Coyotes this season. The 21-year-old will go back to Tucson, where he has collected 11 points (5G / 6A) in 11 games this season.
Ladd missed Monday’s game with an upper-body injury and is listed as day-to-day. With his day-to-day tag, consider Ladd as questionable for Thursday’s game vs. the Stars.

The Coyotes sent Dauphin to the AHL because they had five straight days off, but he is back and should be in the lineup on Friday. Dauphin has three points (2G / 1A) in 21 games with Arizona and 11 points (5G / 6A) in 11 games with Tucson.
Little was held off of the ice during the Jets’ morning skate, but head coach Paul Maurice said Little is “fine” and will play tonight. Little will centre the Jets’ top line with Blake Wheeler and Mathieu Perreault on his wings.
Galchenyuk continues to skate with the Canadiens, but is not quite ready to play tonight vs. the Capitals. The Canadiens reiterated that Galchenyuk is “close,” so monitor his status leading up to Wednesday’s game in Winnipeg.
Dauphin, 21, has two goals and one assist in 20 games with the Coyotes this season. He has also logged 11 points (5G / 6A) in 10 games with the Roadrunners and could get back in the Coyotes’ lineup tonight with Jordan Martinook and Martin Hanzal getting hurt in last night’s game.
Galchenyuk missed Tuesday’s game with a knee injury and after further evaluation in Montreal the Canadiens announced that Galchenyuk would miss at least six weeks. This is a tough break because the Habs will also be without David Desharnais for 6-8 weeks.
Galchenyuk was hurt during Sunday’s shootout win in Los Angeles, but traveled to St. Louis with the team. After undergoing some testing in St. Louis, Galchenyuk will return to Montreal to undergo further testing. Expect a more definitive timetable to be revealed later this week. In the meantime, Andrew Shaw will likely shift to centre for Tuesday’s game.
Little has been sidelined since the season opener, but will get back into the lineup tonight vs. the Devils. Little will centre the Jets’ second line with Blake Wheeler and Drew Stafford on his wings. He is worth a pickup if he made it to waivers in standard leagues.
