The Predators have acquired Alex Galchenyuk from the Avalanche for Ryan Johansen.

Galchenyk spent most of 2023 in the AHL, where he was a point-per-game player, posting 16 goals and 26 assists (42 points) in 42 games. During his time with the Avalanche, the 29-year-old was held pointless in 11 games. He should have an easier time cracking the Predators' lineup in 2023-24.

The 29-year-old returns to the Avalanche, where he has yet to pick up a point but has eight shots and a -6 plus/minus through 10 games during a spell earlier in the season.

Dauphin does not have a point, has 17 SOG, six PIMs and a -4 plus/minus through 16 games this season but will miss Friday's game vs. Colorado due to an undisclosed injury. The 27-year-old is considered day-to-day while he mends the injury.

The 29-year-old failed to pick up a point across a short four-game showing earlier in the season.

Adam Ruzicka is expected to be a healthy scratch Wednesday vs. Arizona.

Ruzicka has six goals, 14 assists, 59 SOG, eight PIMs and a +1 plus/minus through 41 games played this season but will be a healthy scratch Wednesday as Calgary takes on Arizona. Walker Duehr will be taking his spot in the Flames lineup.

The Coyotes have assigned Jean-Sebastien Dea to Tucson (AHL).

Dea played one game for the Coyotes after getting the call-up from Tucson (AHL) and collected one shot across 12 shifts and 7:41 TOI but has been reassigned back to the Roadrunners on Tuesday. He returns to Tuscon, where he had 19 goals, 18 assists, 30 PIMs, 99 SOG and a -14 plus/minus through 46 games.

The Coyotes have recalled Jean-Sebastien Dea from Tucson (AHL).

Dea had 19 goals, 18 assists, 30 PIMs and a -14 plus/minus through 46 games with Tucson (AHL) but has been recalled Monday to Arizona. The 28-year-old had previously played in 33 NHL games across four seasons and three different teams, picking up five goals, two assists and 33 SOG.

Zack Kassian will return to the Arizona lineup Wednesday vs. Carolina (lower-body).

Kassian has not played since October 30th due to a lower-body injury but will return earlier than expected Wednesday vs. Carolina. In eight games prior to the injury, the 31-year-old veteran has one goal and a -5 plus minus along with 13 PIMs.
