Ruzicka enters his third season with the Flames after playing 31 total games over the last two years. The 23-year-old has been productive during his limited time, collecting 11 points (5G/6A) and a +10 plus/minus in the 31 NHL games.
Nemeth enters the Coyotes' lineup for the first time Tuesday and will replace Dysin Mayo on Arizona's defensive unit. Through 429 career games, he has 10 goals and 65 points.
Ladd failed his physical and will start the season on IR. Ladd has had three surgeries on his knee and has only appeared in 81 NHL games over the past four seasons. As per the conditions of the trade that sent him to Arizona, the Coyotes will get a conditional third-round pick in 2023 due to Ladd's injury.
Klok comes over from the KHL, where he had 31 points (5G / 26A) in 44 games with Nizhnekamsk Neftekhimik. There's not a ton of depth on the left-side of the Coyotes' blueline but he will likely start the season in the AHL and have to work his way up the depth chart.
