The Bruins have signed David Pastrnak to an 8-year contract extension worth $90.0 million ($11.25M AAV).

Pastrnak is currently tied for fourth in the NHL in scoring with 42 goals, 38 assists, 285 SOG, a +27 plus/minus and 32 PIMs across 60 games this season and has signed an 8-year contract extension worth $90.0 million ($11.25M AAV). This will make Pastrnak a Bruin until at least his age-34 season.

The Kings have acquired Joonas Korpisalo and Vladislav Gavrikov from the Blue Jackets for Jonathan Quick, a 2023 first-round pick and a 2024 third-round pick.

Korpisalo was 11-11-3 with a 3.17 GAA and .913 SV% in Columbus and will now head to Los Angeles alongside Vladislav Gavrikov from the Blue Jackets for Jonathan Quick, a first-round pick and a third-round pick. The 28-year-old played eight seasons in Columbus posting a .903 SV% across 210 career games.

Tanner Jeannot will make his Lightning debut Tuesday vs. Florida.

Jeannot was dealt to the Lightning over the weekend and will make his Tampa Bay debut Tuesday vs. state rival Florida. The 25-year-old has five goals, nine assists, 85 PIMs and 87 SOG through 56 games this season with the Predators. He will be on Tampa Bay's third line with Nick Paul and Ross Colton.

Swayman will start Monday in Edmonton.

Swayman allowed five goals on 41 shots (.878 SV%) but still picked up his second straight victory as he beat Seattle in his last start. The 24-year-old Bruins' backup has been fantastic when called upon, shown by his 14-4-4 record, 2.34 GAA and .916 SV%. He will take on the Edmonton Oilers, who are coming off a 6-5 loss to Columbus but are 1st in the NHL in goals per game (3.83).

The Lightning have acquired Tanner Jeannot from the Predators for Cal Foote, a 2025 1st Round Pick, a 2024 2nd Round Pick, a 2023 3rd Round Pick, a 2023 4th Round Pick and a 2023 5th Round Pick.

Jeannot was an undrafted free agent out of Moose Jaw (WHL), who led all rookies with 25 goals and was eight in points (41) last year. Regression has hit him hard this season, as his SH% has dropped from 19.4% (2022) to 5.7% (2023). Jeannot is a big body (6-foot-2, 208 lbs) that plays an extremely physical brand of hockey. In the last two seasons combined, Jeannot leads all forwards in hits (531) and is second overall, behind only Radko Gudas (558). Jeannot could settle in on the third line with Nick Paul, a similar role he filled in Nashville next to Colton Sissons.

Jeremy Swayman will start Thursday vs. Seattle.

Swayman was perfect, stopping 28 of 28 shots for his second shutout of the season as he beat Nashville in his last start. The 24-year-old Bruins' backup has been slowly making their starting position a 50/50 split due to his impressive 13-4-4 record, 2.21 GAA and .918 SV%. He will face Seattle, who is coming off a 4-0 loss to San Jose but is fifth in the NHL in goals per game (3.46).

Korpisalo will start Thursday vs. the Wild.

Korpisalo stopped 28 of 29 shots (.966 SV%) for his second-straight win as he beat Dallas in his previous start. The 28-year-old has been impressive on an otherwise horrendous roster, as shown by his 10-10-3 record, .913 SV% and 3.14 GAA. He takes on the Minnesota Wild, who are in the midst of a three-game winning streak but are 25th in the NHL in goals per game (2.86).

Lindholm (personal) is expected to be back in the Flames lineup on Monday.

Lindholm missed Saturday's game against the Rangers for the birth of his baby boy. Lindholm was back on the ice for Sunday's practice and is expected to play Monday vs. the Flyers. Lindholm comes in with 17 points (5G / 12A) in his last 19 games.

Jakub Lauko has been reassigned to Providence (AHL).

Lauko has a goal, two assists, eight SOG, four PIMs and a -1 plus/minus through 11 games with Boston this season but has been reassigned to Providence (AHL) Friday. The 22-year-old heads back to the minors, where he had nine goals, six assists, 53 PIMs and a +12 plus/minus through 30 games prior to his promotion.

Swayman will start Thursday in Nashville.

Swayman allowed two goals on 23 shots (.913 SV%) for his second straight loss as he was downed by the Washington Capitals in his previous start. The 24-year-old Bruins' backup has been solid much like his surrounding cast, with his 12-4-4 record, 2.33 GAA and .914 SV%. He takes on the Nashville Predators, who are coming off a 4-2 loss to Arizona and are 26th in the NHL in goals per game (2.75).
