Korpisalo, 21, was the Blue Jackets third round pick (62nd overall) in 2012. Korpisalo has gone 5-4-2 with a 2.12 GAA and .928 SV% in 11 games with Lake Erie and has been recalled because Sergei Bobrovsky was injured in Tuesday’s loss to the Kings. Zadorov served as a healthy scratch in three of the last four games. He was a minus-3 in just 10:36 on Thursday and and is a minus-5 on the season. Zadorov was a key piece in the Ryan O’Reilly trade, but is viewed as a bit of a project. He has an extremely projectable frame and a nasty side to his game, but he hasn’t fully developed into an everyday NHL defenseman yet. The AHL will allow him more ice time and freedom to grow.

Pastrnak missed Tuesday’s game with a foot injury and is expected to miss the next three games. Pastrnak will not travel on the road trip, which means that Alex Khokhlachev will remain with the team.

After Zadorov registered two assists and a minus-2 rating in the first 10 games with the Avs, he was scratched on Sunday and will be again tonight. Zadorov has all the tools to become a great NHL defenseman, but he remains a work in progress.

Pastrnak suffered a foot injury while blocking a shot in Friday’s game in Florida. he played on Saturday, but only played 7:41 TOI, so he clearly wasn’t 100 percent. He will get a few days off to allow his foot to heal, so the Bruins recalled Alex Khokhlachev, who replace Pastrnak.

Arvidsson, 22, scored one goal in three games with the Predators after making the team out of training camp, but he will head back to the AHL for a little more seasoning. He had 22 goals and 33 assists (55 points) in 70 games with Milwaukee last season.

Zacha, 18, was the sixth overall pick in this summer’s draft, but was unable to crack the Devils opening night roster. Zacha heads back to the OHL, where he had 16 goals and 18 assists (34 points) in 37 games a season ago.

Arvidsson did not have a point in six games during his recall. He heads back to the minors with the Predators off until Saturday.
