It will be Levi's first NHL game since January 24th, a game in which he allowed just three goals on 40 shots in a 5-3 victory over the Kings. The Sabres opted to send Levi down to Rochester (AHL) shortly thereafter in order to assure him more playing time as Luukkonen ran away with the starting job. Levi will be hoping to stake a claim for more playing time after amassing an 11-5-3 record to go along with a .927 SV% across 19 AHL appearances.

Georgiev's last appearance came on Friday against the Wild, when he allowed just a single goal on 30 shots as Colorado managed to pick up the overtime victory over the Wild. Georgiev owns a rather disappointing .901 SV% on the season but has still managed a 33-15-3 record thanks to some outstanding goal support. He'll have his hands full on Wednesday when he and the Avs travel to Vancouver to take on the leaders of the Western Conference.

The struggling Red Wings will turn to Lyon again on Thursday as they attempt to snap a six-game losing skid. After a tremendous start to his season, Lyon has been abysmal lately, allowing four or more goals in five straight (0-5-0), posting a .850 SV%. The Red Wings have a favourable matchup on Thursday against an Arizona Coyotes club that defeated them 4-0 one week ago.
