Luukkonen will start Thursday vs. the Jets.

Luukkonen has had a busy week of being sent down and then recalled after winning his previous start for a sixth straight win by stopping 39 of 44 shots (.886 SV%) as he defeated Minnesota his last time out. The 23-year-old has an impressive 9-3-1 record, but a not-so-pretty 3.49 GAA and .894 SV%. He will face Winnipeg, who just snapped a five-game winning streak with a 7-5 loss to Detroit on Wednesday.

The Sabres have recalled Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen from Rochester (AHL).

Luukkonen was scheduled to start on Tuesday but was unavailable due to illness, recalling him this morning suggests that he's feeling better and is in line to start Thursday. With Luukkonen coming up, Jack Quinn was loaned to the AHL, but that's likely just a paper transaction to make room for Luukkonen.

Georgiev starts Tuesday vs. the Panthers.

Georgiev stopped 28 of 30 shots (.933 SV%) to snap a five-game losing streak as he beat Edmonton in his previous start. The 26-year-old has been solid for most of his first season in Colorado, with his 16-10-3 record, 2.67 GAA and .916 SV%. He will take on the Florida Panthers, who lost to Dallas 5-1 their last time out but are 2nd in the NHL in shots per game (35.7).

Alex Lyon will draw back into the Panthers' lineup and backup Sergei Bobrovsky Tuesday.

Lyon was 9-8-2 with a 2.55 GAA and .909 SV% with the Charlotte Checkers (AHL) and will dress for the Florida Panthers as their backup netminder Tuesday as a replacement for the injured Spencer Knight (undisclosed).

Ukko-Pekka Luukonen has been loaned to Rochester (AHL).

Luukonen has a 9-3-1 record, 3.49 GAA and .894 SV% this season but will surprisingly be loaned back to Rochester (AHL) as Eric Comrie returns from a lower-body injury. The 23-year-old is expected to return to the club this season so this is just a temporary move.

Georgiev starts Thursday in Vancouver.

Georgiev allowed three goals on 28 shots (.893 SV%) for his fourth straight loss as he was beaten by Vegas in his previous start. The 26-year-old has been faltering as of late, but still holds a strong 15-6-3 record, with a .915 SV% and 2.68 GAA. He will hope for better fortunes against the Vancouver Canucks, who have lost their last three games after a 6-2 loss to the New York Islanders last game.
