



Greenway suffered an upper-body injury in Ottawa on Tuesday and is not expected to play on Thursday. Mats Zuccarello is expected to replace Greenway, returning from an upper-body injury that kept him out on Tuesday.


Byram continues to work his way back from the lingering effects of head injuries and skated both Tuesday and Wednesday. Head coach Jared Bednar said Byram's road to recovery "is not necessarily a straight line" and that they are taking it day-by-day.

Dahlin missed Sunday's game in Columbus but was back on the ice for Tuesday's practice and is expected to be in the lineup in Montreal. Dahlin enters play on a five-game point streak, scoring one goal with four assists.




Dahlin will come out of the lineup on Sunday, so look for Robert Hagg to draw into the lineup to replace him. Henri Jokiharju should take over on PP1 with Dahlin sidelined.

The Sabres continue to rotate defensemen each game, with Samuelsson replacing Robert Hagg on Saturday. Samuelsson has no points in 11 games with the Sabres.


The Sabres have been rotating defensemen as of late and Samuelsson will be the latest one to sit. Robert Hagg will draw back into the lineup to replace him.

Chabot missed Tuesday's game vs. the Blues and will miss at least the rest of this week with an undisclosed injury. Erik Brannstrom should remain on PP1 while Chabot is sidelined--he had two assists in the loss to St. Louis.


Bryson has played in five straight games but will sit Thursday vs. the Blue Jackets. Bryson has eight assists but is still looking for his first goal through 37 games this season.

Norris is set to miss his fourth straight game on Monday and is expected to be out until late February. Everything is "structurally sound with the shoulder," so it doesn't sound like Norris will be sidelined too long term.

Thompson missed one game but is set to return to the Sabres lineup on Tuesday. Thompson will replace Casey Mittelstadt and comes into the lineup with 14 goals and 15 assists (29 points) in 40 games.
