Tokarski gave up three goals on 32 shots in the Habs 3-2 loss to the Coyotes on February 1st. Carey Price has started the last four games, but Tokarski will get the nod tonight vs. the lowly Oilers. This is as good of a spot-start as you will find, so jump on it!
Lemieux, 18, was a second-round pick (31st overall) of the Sabres in last summer’s draft. The son of former NHLer Claude Lemieux, Brendan is a gritty forward who can put the puck in the net. He has 35 goals and 15 assists (50 points) in 46 games with the Barrie Colts (OHL) this season.
Hall suffered the fracture in San Jose while he was trying to return from bone bruise in his ankle. He will be out until mid-to-late March. This is a terrible break for Hall owners.
Hall was not expected to play on Tuesday anyways, so his movement to IR was just a formality. Hall is eligible to be activated from IR as soon as he is healthy.
Andersen was injured in Sunday’s game when the net fell onto his head/neck. His immediate movement to IR means that he is out through next Sunday, so he will miss at least the next three games. John Gibson has been recalled with Andersen out.
