The 24-year-old has struggled since being called upon full-time in Frederik Anderson's absence, with his 11-8-3 record, 2.60 GAA and .898 SV%. He takes on the Colorado Avalanche Thursday, who lost both of their back-to-back matchups in their return from the All-Star break but are still 2nd in the NHL in goals per game (3.76).

Andersen was diagnosed with deep-vein thrombosis and subsequent pulmonary embolisms in November. Andersen has resumed off-ice activities without complication and will not begin limited on-ice conditioning. Andersen remains without a timetable to return to the lineup.

Roslovic was a healthy scratch on Sunday's game in Seattle but he will replace Adam Fantilli (lower-body) in the lineup on Tuesday. Roslovic has not scored a goal since October 26th, posting just four assists in his last 20 games.

Robinson will fill in for Zach Benson, who will get the night off for the second game of Buffalo's back-to-back. Robinson has two goals and four assists in 21 games this season.

Martin will make his Hurricanes debut on Wednesday after being claimed off waivers from the Blue Jackets last week. Given Antti Raanta's struggles this season, Martin could make a case for some extra work in the absence of Pyotr Kochetkov (concussion), though he didn't look particularly strong during his time in Columbus this season. The 28-year-old netminder posted a 3-8-1 record along with an .887 SV% and a 3.65 GAA in 13 appearances with the Blue Jackets. He draws a brutal assignment in his first start as a Hurricane as he travels to Boston to take on the Bruins.

Svechnikov was a late scratch for Sunday's game, with the team only announcing his absence after warmups began, and will miss his second straight contest on Wednesday. His first chance to return to the lineup will be on Friday against the New Jersey Devils.

Lemieux will slide into the lineup in place of the injured Andrei Svechnikov (upper-body). Lemieux has two goals and one assist in 17 games this season.
