He will face the Seattle Kraken Thursday, who have won two of their last three games but rank 28th in the NHL in goals per game (2.29).

Kochetkov has been reassigned to the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL after making appearances in three consecutive games for the Hurricanes. In those three games (0-3-0), Kotchetkov was unremarkable, as has been the entire Hurricanes roster to start the season, posting a 4.33 GAA and .836 SV%. The Hurricanes will turn back to the tandem of Frederik Andersen and Antti Raanta in between the pipes.

The Hurricanes will welcome Aho back into their lineup on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Aho has missed the last three games after suffering an upper-body injury. He's not the safest start on the slate, but Kochetkov and the Hurricanes are still favoured (-130) to pick up a road victory over the Lightning tonight.

Primeau has yet to appear in any of the Canadiens five games to start the season but will take the crease Tuesday at home vs. New Jersey. The 24-year-old was 0-2-0 with a .852 SV% and a 3.46 GAA in three games played in 2022-23 with Montreal. He draws the tough task of the New Jersey Devils, who won their last game 5-4 in overtime over NYI and are eighth in the NHL in goals for (3.75).

Hall suffered a shoulder injury in game two of the season and was initially given a week-to-week prognosis and has been placed on the injured reserve Tuesday. To everyone's surprise, Hall missed only one game and returned to the lineup. Three games later, Hall seems to have reaggravated his shoulder injury and is once again going to be week-to-week because of it. Hall has played primarily with Connor Bedard this season and has two points (0G / 2A) and seven shots in five games. The Blackhawks might welcome Philipp Kurashev back into their lineup on Tuesday, which would help replace Hall on the roster.
