Shayne Gostibehere will be a game-time decision to make his Hurricanes' debut Wednesday vs. Vegas.

Gostisbehere has 10 goals, 21 assists, 115 SOG, 28 PIMs and a -6 plus/minus through 52 games this season with Arizona and has been traded to Carolina for a 2026 3rd-round pick and is attempting to make it the Hurricanes' game in Vegas Wednesday. He is considered a game-time decision prior to the matchup.

Andersen allowed three goals on 16 shots (.813 SV%) to snap a three-game winning streak as he was defeated by Anaheim in his previous start. The 33-year-old has been mediocre when healthy this season, but still has an impressive 14-5-0 record alongside his 2.47 GAA and .905 SV%. He takes on the Vegas Golden Knights, who have lost three of their last four games after a 3-0 loss to Colorado last time out.

He will take on the St. Louis Blues, who lost their last two games and are 28th in the NHL in shots per game (28.9).

Smith was a healthy scratch for the Panthers' previous contest but will draw back into the lineup Monday as they take on Anaheim. The 24-year-old has a goal, three assists, 24 SOG, 47 PIMs and a +3 plus/minus through 23 games this season mixed between Florida and Detroit. He will replace Chris Tierney in the Panthers' lineup.
