Aho (lower-body/concussion) says he “feels good” and may return to the Hurricanes lineup on Tuesday.

Aho was back at practice on Monday and may be cleared to play Tuesday after missing the last four games with a lower-body injury and concussion. Aho’s return will be huge for the Hurricanes as he comes in second on the team in points (37).

Andersen allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Maple Leafs loss to the Avalanche on Monday. The Maple Leafs have struggled recently and Andersen comes into Wednesday at 3-3-3 with a 2.63 GAA and .919 SV% on the road this season. Andersen stopped 18 of 21 shots in a 4-3 OT win in his first start vs. the Blackhawks.

The Jets have recalled Jack Roslovic from Manitoba (AHL).

Roslovic went back to the Moose during the Jets bye week but is set to continue his NHL career this weekend. The 2015 first-round pick (No.25 overall) has yet to record an NHL point, but he has registered 15 goals and 20 assists (35 points) in 32 game with Manitoba.

Andersen allowed two goals on 42 shots in the Maple Leafs overtime loss to the Blues on Tuesday. Andersen has now lost three in a row and five of his last seven starts while allowing a combined 20 goals on 244 shots (.918 SV%). He has had to bail the Maple Leafs out a lot this season and faces a stern test tonight in Philly.

Jost is questionable for Thursday’s game because of an undisclosed injury.

Jost is reportedly dealing with an injury and could miss some time, so monitor his status prior to tomorrow’s game vs. the Sharks. The Avalanche recalled Dominic Toninato from San Antonio (AHL) to take Jost’s spot if he can’t play.

Andersen allowed four goals on 32 shots in the Maple Leafs loss to the Senators last Wednesday. Following the Maple Leafs bye week, look for their workhorse netminder to face the Blues tonight. Andersen has dropped four of his last six starts (2-3-1) while posting a 2.94 GAA and .911 SV%.

Aho had to be helped off of the ice during Sunday’s loss to the Flames.

Aho was hit in the head and the knee on a dangerous hit by Mark Giordano, that resulted in a match penalty for the defenseman. Aho was favoring his left leg as he was helped off of the ice, but luckily for the Hurricanes’ leading scorer, they have the next five days off with a bye week. Monitor Aho’s status heading into Saturday’s game in Detroit.

Andersen will start Wednesday vs. the Senators.

Andersen allowed three goals on 33 shots in the Maple Leafs overtime loss to the Blue Jackets on Monday. Andersen has gone 2-2-1 while allowing a combined 14 goals on 170 shots (.918 SV%). Tonight he faces the struggling Senators for the first time since mid-October—he allowed five goals on 34 shots in a 6-3 loss, but that was when the Sens were playing well.

Aho was hurt over the weekend but practiced on Monday and took part in today’s morning skate. Head coach Bill Peters said that Aho “should be good to go” so look for the talented second-year forward to play in Tampa Bay. Aho has six goals and four assists (10 points) in his last seven games.

Andersen allowed two goals on 36 shots in the Maple Leafs shootout win over the Canucks on Saturday. Aside from a rough outing in Vegas, Andersen has played well as of late, winning five of his last six starts with a 2.53 GAA and .924 SV%. Tonight he will take on the Blue Jackets, who appear to have rebounded after hitting a rough patch in late-December.
