Andersen allowed one goal on 33 shots in the Maple Leafs win over the Hurricanes on Tuesday. Curtis McElhinney started on Wednesday so they’ll obviously come back to Andersen tonight in New York. Andersen gave up five goals on 35 shots in an 8-5 win over the Rangers in their first meeting—Andersen comes in at 3-3-0 with a 2.01 GAA and .942 SV% in December.

Fast suffered the injury in the Rangers shootout loss to the Devils last night. Fast will be out until January and his injury means that Boo Nieves will likely draw back into the lineup on Saturday.

Andersen has actually been better on the road this season, going 9-5-1 with a 2.47 GAA, .929 SV% and two shutouts in 15 starts. In his first start against the Wild, Andersen stopped 35 of 37 shots in a 4-2 win.

Hall left last night’s game vs. the Kings after scoring two goals in 16:31 of ice-time. Hall has been excellent in 30 games this season, recording 11 goals and 20 assists (31 points). Monitor his status before the Devils depart for Montreal.
