

Stecher will fill in on the Oilers' blue-line for Mattias Ekholm, who is out with an undisclosed injury. Stecher has one goal and four assists in 47 games this season.

Ekholm was a late scratch for Wednesday's game against the Capitals with the team only announcing his absence shortly before warmups. His absence opens up the door for Troy Stecher to make his Oilers debut.

Dermott will return to the Coyotes' lineup after an illness held him out of Sunday's game in Chicago. He has two goals and three assists in 38 games this season.

Skinner has only started one of the last three games but will return to the crease on Wednesday against the Washington Capitals. His recent inactivity hasn't resulted from poor play as he has been impressive lately, allowing two or fewer goals in five straight (4-0-1), posting a .947 SV%.

Pavol Regenda will replace Jones, who will be out of the lineup due to an illness. Jones has been semi-productive lately for the low-scoring Ducks, tallying five points (1G / 4A), 15 shots, and 18 hits in the last seven games.

Walman did not play in the Red Wings' last outing but will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Buffalo Sabres. The 28-year-old defenseman has 20 points (11G / 9A), 99 shots, and 141 blocks in 57 games this season.





Dermott is considered day-to-day with an illness. Victor Soderstrom was recalled from Tucson (AHL) on emergency basis on Friday and could draw into the lineup in Dermott's place.

Podkolzin just played his first three games with Vancouver this season, being held off the scoresheet while averaging nearly 11 minutes of ice time. He has spent most of the 2023-24 campaign with Abbotsford (AHL), where he has 28 points (15G / 13A) in 44 games.


Attard last appeared in the NHL in April of 2023 and will find himself in Philadelphia's lineup for the first time in the 2023-24 season as he replaces the traded Sean Walker. The 24-year-old is still technically a rookie even though he appeared in 15 games in 2021-22 and had four points (2G/2A) and eight PIMs during that season.

The Oilers enter action as -261 road favourites on Thursday against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
