Tonight he will face the Blackhawks at Bridgestone Arena, where he is 2-1-1 with a 2.03 GAA and .934 SV% on the season.

Forsberg practiced on Monday and took part in Tuesday’s morning skate but he stayed on late which suggests he may not return to the lineup quite yet. However, the Predators did not rule him out either so Forsberg’s status remains in question. Consider him a game-time decision.

Forsberg appears to be nearing a return after missing one month with an upper-body injury. Forsberg skated with Ryan Johansen and Viktor Arvidsson at Monday’s practice, but participated in a no-contact sweater, which suggests that he might not be ready for Tuesday’s game.

Saros went to the AHL during the Predators bye week and has spent a decent amount of time with the Admirals this season. Overall he is 3-5-0 with a 2.88 GAA and .906 SV% in nine AHL games and 4-3-3 with a 2.42 GAA and .922 SV% in 11 NHL games.


Saros, 22, has gone 1-4-0 with a 3.80 GAA and .872 SV% in six games with the Admirals. Saros will head to Milwaukee to get some starts during the Predators bye week.


Borowiecki has been out since November 19th but took part in the Senators morning skate and is listed as a game-time decision tonight vs. Chicago. Borowiecki would likely replace Johnny Oduya, who is dealing with an injury of his own.
