He will host the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday, who are on the second half of a back-to-back after losing to Edmonton on Monday.







With Nathan Bastian (lower body) finding himself on Injured Reserve, Brian Halonen earned his first career call-up to the New Jersey Devils from Utica (AHL) on Friday. The 25-year-old left-winger has been enjoying a solid season in Utica in 2023-24, with 13 goals, 17 points, 10 PIMs and a +7 plus/minus in 21 games played before his call up.

Kyle Burroughs is expected to draw into the lineup on Saturday, making Addison a healthy scratch. Addison had a two-point outing (0G / 2A) earlier this week but has failed to record a point in 12 of his last 13 games.

Daws will get an immediate shot at redemption after his shot streak came to a sudden end in Washington on Tuesday. Daws allowed six goals on just 26 shots in the 6-2 defeat, ending a run of four straight starts where the the 23-year-old netminder posted a .931 SV% or better. Daws owns a 6-7-0 record in 13 starts on the season to go along with a .903 SV% and a 3.18 GAA. He draws a difficult assignment on Thursday at home against the Rangers, though New York could be without Artemi Panarin (lower-body).

Markstrom will return to the crease for the ninth time in the last 10 games when the Flames face off against the Boston Bruins on Thursday. Markstrom has allowed three or fewer goals in six of his last seven games (5-2-0) and saved 28 of 31 shots (.903 SV%) on Monday, a 6-3 win over the Winnipeg Jets. The Flames enter action as +110 home underdogs.
