Allen was pulled after he allowed four goals on 16 shots in the Blues loss to the Flames on Sunday. Allen appeared to be turning things around two weeks ago but has now allowed at least three goals in four straight games, surrendering a total of 16 goals on 92 shots (.826 SV%). In his first start vs. the Oilers, Allen allowed two goals on 36 shots in a 3-2 shootout loss.

Bernier was pulled after allowing five goals on 15 shots in the Red Wings loss in Washington on Tuesday. With Jimmy Howard starting last night, Bernier is projected to start Saturday in Brooklyn. Bernier allowed three goals on 19 shots in a 3-2 loss in his first start against the Islanders (Dec.8).

Markstrom allowed two goals on 36 shots in the Canucks win in Columbus on Tuesday. Markstrom has won three straight while allowing just six goals on 88 shots (.932 SV%). He will look to stay hot tonight against a Flyers team that has lost 10 of their last 13 and come in on the tail-end of back-to-back.

Bernier allowed three goals on 19 shots in a 3-2 loss in his first start against the Islanders (Dec.8).

Allen allowed three goals on 25 shots in the Blues win over the Panthers on Tuesday. It has been a bit of a rollercoaster for Allen, who has gone 3-1-1 with a 2.31 GAA, .918 SV% and one shutout in his last five starts. In his first game against the Avalanche, Allen stopped 27 of 29 shots in a 3-2 overtime win (Nov.30).

Allen was pulled after allowing three goals on six shots in the Blues loss to the Canucks on Sunday. Chad Johnson was waived and picked up by Anaheim, which means Allen will have to outplay Jordan Binnington for playing time moving forward. Tonight he takes on the Panthers on home-ice, where he is 4-4-2 with a 3.86 GAA and .879 SV%.

Markstrom allowed one goal on 23 shots in the Canucks win in St. Louis on Sunday. Markstrom has won back-to-back games, while stopping 48 of the 52 shots (.923 SV%) that he has faced. Tonight he makes his first start against the Blue Jackets—Markstrom is 4-5-2 with a 3.23 GAA and .894 SV% on the road.

Bernier has played pretty well in his last five appearances (four starts), going 2-2-0 while allowing just 12 gaols on 155 shots (.923 SV%). As solid as he has been, he should be left on the bench tonight in Toronto.
