Panik, 24, was a second round pick (52nd overall) in 2009 and has 25 points (9G / 16A) in 33 games with the Marlies this season. Panik has 39 career points (19G / 20A) in 151 NHL games with the Lightning and the Maple Leafs. He will report to Rockford (AHL).
There is no word on what is ailing CLutterbuck, but his status for Sunday’s game is uncertain. Steve Bernier would likely replace Clutterbuck if he has unable to play.

He won the first in come-from-behind overtime fashion in New Jersey—tonight will be in Detroit. Schneider is 8-3-2 with a 2/04 GAA and .936 SV% on the road.
