Quick will start against the Avalanche on Monday.

Quick started the final game before the All-Star break for the Rangers and will return to the crease in their first game back on Monday evening. The consecutive starts likely correlate to Igor Shesterkin participating in the All-Star game, but even so, Quick has played well lately. In his last two outings (1-1-0), the 38-year-old Quick has 53 of 57 shots, posting a stellar .930 SV%. The Rangers are slight -115 home favourites against an Avalanche club riding a three-game winning streak.

Kaliyev is listed as a scratch for Wednesday's game in Nashville.

Kaliyev will be a healthy scratch on Wednesday in order to make room for the return of Quinton Byfield (illness). Kaliyev has enjoyed a rather productive season considering his limited usage, registering six goals and eight assists in 38 games with an ATOI of 13:10.

Shesterkin will start Friday vs. Vegas.

Shesterkin will return to the crease for the Rangers on Friday evening in a matchup against the Vegas Golden Knights. Shesterkin allowed three goals on 22 shots (.864 SV%) in a disappointing 3-2 overtime loss to the bottom-dwelling San Jose Sharks in his last outing. Shesterkin's reputation as an elite goaltender has not held up this season, especially lately, allowing four or more goals in four of his last nine games (4-4-1), posting an ugly .870 SV%. That said, the Rangers are -155 home favourites against a Golden Knights club with points in five straight (4-0-1).

Leschyshyn has been recalled from Hartford (AHL).

Leschyshyn had four goals, three assists, and 10 PIMs in 16 games with Hartford (AHL) this season and has earned his second call up of the year to the Rangers on Wednesday. Leschyshyn appeared in one game previously this season for the Rangers on the 11th of January and was a -1 plus/minus across 10 shifts and only 6:28 TOI. He's played 77 career NHL games in four seasons.

Shesterkin will start in San Jose on Tuesday.

Shesterkin will return to the crease on Tuesday in a favourable matchup against the San Jose Sharks. Shesterkin has had an inconsistent season but has played better lately, allowing two or fewer goals in three of his last four contests (3-1-0), posting a serviceable .909 SV%. The Rangers are significant -341 road favourites against the Sharks, who rank dead-last in the league offensively (2.06 GF / GP).
