The Kings have acquired Vladislav Gavrikov and Joonas Korpisalo from the Blue Jackets for Jonathan Quick, a 2023 first-round pick and a 2024 third-round pick.

J.T. Miller did not make the team trip to Dallas and is considered day-to-day with an undisclosed injury.

Miller has 20 goals, 34 assists, 163 SOG, 42 PIMs and a -15 plus/minus through 59 games with the Canucks this season but will miss Monday's contest vs. Dallas due to an undisclosed injury. Miller's name has been floating around in trade rumours as of late but this seems to just be an injury.

Soucy is not on the ice for warmups; will not play Monday in San Jose (healthy scratch).

Soucy has two goals, eight assists, 63 SOG, 41 PIMs and a +14 plus/minus through 56 games this season but will miss Monday's game vs. San Jose as he is a healthy scratch. It is the first game this season where the 28-year-old has sat.

Shesterkin was the first goalie off the ice at the Rangers' morning skate.

Shesterkin allowed four goals on 29 shots (.862 SV%) for his fourth-straight win but a fourth-straight game with a save percentage below .900 as he beat Edmonton his last time out. The 2022 Vezina Trophy winner has been strong, but not his dominant self this season, with his 25-8-7 record, 2.55 GAA and .914 SV%. He takes on the Winnipeg Jets, who are in a bit of a slump having lost five of their last seven game after a 4-2 loss to New Jersey last game.

Shesterkin starts Friday in Edmonton.

Shesterkin allowed four goals on 29 shots (.852 SV%) for his third-straight win as he beat Vancouver in his previous start. The 27-year-old is top five in the NHL in wins with his 24-8-7 record, from his 2.52 GAA and .915 SV%. He will face the Edmonton Oilers, who have lost three of their last four games but still rank first in the NHL in goals per game (3.73).
