Blidh has recorded two goals and four assists (six points) in 11 games with Providence this season. The 23-year-old winger has just two points (1G / 1A) in 20 career NHL games with Boston.

Quick underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus and is expected to miss multiple months. His move to LTIR opens up a roster spot and provides the Kings with some cap relief.

Domingue allowed three goals on 36 shots in the Lightning’s win in Chicago last Sunday. Domingue won’t get a ton of playing time, but he has played very well in his first two starts of the season. So far, he is 2-0-0 with a 2.50 GAA and .934 SV% and has a nice matchup tonight vs. his former squad.
Harpur (undisclosed) will not play on Friday.
Harpur will miss his second straight game with an undisclosed injury. Cody Ceci will draw into the lineup for the suspended Mark Borowiecki with Harpur out.

Ruhwedel is expected to be in the Penguins lineup on Thursday.
Ruhwedel is expected to make his season debut on Thursday, replacing Juuso Riikola. Ruhwedel had just five points (2G / 3A) in 44 games with the Penguins last year.

Vaakanainen was forced to leave Tuesday’s game in Ottawa after getting elbowed in the face by Mark Borowiecki. Borowiecki will face supplemental discipline from the NHL for the hit.

Despite the terrible outing, the Kings will stick with their unquestioned No.1 netminder this afternoon.
