Hamonic was hurt in the third period of Wednesday's game and was placed on IR prior to Thursday's game vs. the Canadiens. With Hamonic out, Brogan Rafferty was added to the 23-man roster and either he or Jordie Benn will draw into the lineup on Thursday.
Ullmark missed the last two games due to the death of his father but was back on the ice on Thursday. With Carter Hutton day-to-day with an injury, a heavy-hearted Ullmark could be back in the crease Friday in Washington.
Both Hamonic and Alex Edler left Wednesday's game vs. Montreal and did not return. During his postgame press availability, head coach Travis Green did not have an update on either defenseman. If both aren't available for Thursday's game, look for Olli Juolevi and Jordie Benn to be in the lineup.
The Sharks are looking for more production out of their bottom-6, so they will shake up all four lines, which includes Dylan Gambrell replacing Gregor in the lineup.
The Senators called Stützle's injury minor on Tuesday but it looks like he'll miss at least two games. Alex Galchenyuk scored while replacing Stützle on Tuesday, so expect him to remain in the lineup on Thursday.
Amadio is expected to be a healthy scratch Tuesday vs. the Avalanche and will be replaced Lias Andersson, who will make his Kings debut.
A few days after scoring his first career NHL goal, Stützle will sit due to a minor injury. With Stützle out, Alex Galchenyuk will replace him on the second line and second power-play unit.
Ullmark looked like the Sabres' starter during Monday's morning skate but will miss tonight's game due to personal reasons. With Ullmark out, Jonas Johansson was recalled on an emergency basis and he is expected to backup Carter Hutton.
Ullmark went 17-14-3 with a 2.69 GAA and .915 SV%. His numbers improved drastically from 2019 and it appeared he would take on a larger role in 2021. However, Carter Hutton had a strong training camp and started the first game of the season, suggesting this could still be a tight timeshare. The 27-year-old Ullmark was 11-5-1 with a 2.54 GAA and .919 SV% in 17 starts on home-ice a season ago.
Forsberg was originally claimed off of waivers by the Hurricanes as insurance before they waived Alex Nedeljkovic but with Nedeljkovic clearing, they no longer needed Forsberg. Winnipeg lost Eric Comrie on waivers last week, so Forsberg fills their No.3 goalie hole.

Anderson was in Capitals training camp on a PTO and signed a one-year deal on Wednesday. Anderson is not expected to start the season as the backup, so the Capitals have placed him on waivers in order to get him to the taxi squad or AHL.
Hamonic was in Canucks training camp on a PTO but was always expected to sign before the season. Hamonic inked a very team-friendly, one-year deal and is expected to start the season on the second-pair with Quinn Hughes. The 30-year-old defenseman averaged five goals, 13 assists, 71 hits and 170 blocked shots per-82 games in his three seasons with the Flames.
The Hurricanes put Alex Nedeljkovic on waivers on Tuesday, so they claimed Forsberg in case they lose Nedeljkovic tomorrow. Forsberg was with the Hurricanes last year, going 1-1-0 while allowing eight goals on 78 shots (.897 SV%) in three games. He signed with the Oilers this offseason but was waived Monday.
Signing the veteran defenseman gives the Blue Jackets another capable power-play quarterback should they decided to play both Zach Werenski and Seth Jones on the same PP unit. Del Zotto had two goals and 13 assists (15 points) in 49 NHL games with the Ducks last season.
Stuetzle was the No.3 overall pick in this year's draft and is currently representing Team Germany at the World Juniors, where he has one goal and one assist in two games thus far. Stuetzle is expected to join the Senators for training camp after the WJC and should start the season in Ottawa.
Given Carter Hutton's struggles since signing with the Sabress, Ullmark has become their No.1 netminder over the last two seasons. He's coming off of a solid campaign in 2020 but ranks tied for 26th in SV% (.910) and tied for 35th in GAA (2.91) since the start of 2019. The Sabres have improved this offseason but Ullmark remains nothing more than a low-end No.2 fantasy netminder.
