Mac Hollowell has been recalled from the Toronto Marlies (AHL).

Hollowell has been enjoying a great start to his season with the Marlies of the AHL, collecting nine assists and a +2 plus/minus through nine games. He has yet to make his NHL debut so if he finds himself in the Maple Leafs' lineup in the upcoming days he will knock that milestone off his bucket list.

Emil Bemstrom will make his season debut Thursday vs. the Flyers

Bemstrom earned his call-up to Columbus after leading the AHL in scoring so far this season with seven goals and 14 points in 10 games played. He also ranks 11th in the AHL in SOG with 35 while adding three of his goals on the PP. He will make his season debut with the Blue Jackets Thursday.

Jeff Carter will be a game-time decision vs. the Capitals Wednesday.

Carter has not played since October 29th when he was forced to leave a game vs. Seattle with a lower-body injury after just 4:18 TOI. The 37-year-old has been enjoying a nice season with six points (2G/4A) and 19 SOG through his first nine games prior to the injury.

Filip Kral has been loaned to the Toronto Marlies (AHL)

Kral will head back to the Toronto Marlies (AHL) after getting a quick cup of tea in the NHL. Across two games the 23-year-old only managed to see an average TOI of 9:58, while getting one shot and zero points. He will hope to return to the big club sooner rather than later.

Kris Letang will be a game-time decision Tuesday due to illness

The Penguins currently find themselves on a four-game skid so the news that Kris Letang may miss Tuesday due to illness does not come at a good time whatsoever. Letang has struggled early on in 2022-23, posting a -5 plus/minus rating with only four points (0G/4A) through his first nine games.

Jarry will start Tuesday vs. the Bruins.

Jarry surrendered four goals on 28 shots in the Penguins loss in Vancouver last Friday. After starting the season 4-0 with a .941 SV%, Jarry has dropped two in a row while giving up 10 goals on 75 shots (.867 SV%). Things won't get any easier on Tuesday, when he faces a Bruins team that is 8-1-0 and lead the NHL in goals per game (4.2).

Nedeljkovic led the Red Wings onto the ice for warmups.

Nedeljkovic will be looking to bounce back after a six-goal, 35-save (.854 SV%) loss against the New Jersey Devils his last time out. Nedeljkovic has struggled this season as he has taken a back seat to Ville Husson. He hopes to improve his ugly .890 SV% and 3.96 GAA. He faces an offensively strong Sabres team coming off a 4-3 overtime win over Chicago. Buffalo surprisingly ranks 5th in the NHL in goals for per game (3.63).
