Alexeyev has played three straight games for the Capitals and has been held off the scoresheet while averaging over 16 minutes of time on ice. Ethan Bear will also be a healthy scratch for the Capitals as Rasmus Sandin and Trevor van Riemsdyk will draw back into the lineup.

It was the fifth defeat Jarry's suffered in his last six starts, despite posting a respectable .910 SV% across that span. He's got a good chance of getting back in the win column on Monday with the Penguins being -150 favourites at Mullett Arena.

Cody Glass and Juuso Parssinen will be healthy scratches on Monday, allowing Tomasino and Michael McCarron to draw into the lineup. Tomasino is expected to play on the fourth line with McCarron and Cole Smith.
