The Maple Leafs COVID-19 protocol list continues to grow, as they now have a total of eight players out. Liljegren will most likely miss Saturday's game vs. the Senators.

Detroit added two more players to the COVID-19 protocol list on Sunday but removed three on Monday. With Leddy out until at least the middle of next week, look for Daniel Renouf to draw back into the Red Wings lineup on Wednesday.

The Red Wings added three more players and two coaches to the COVID-19 protocol list on Saturday, with Nedeljkovic joining Carter Rowney and Givani Smith.

Poturalski was recalled prior to Tuesday's game, which was postponed, and then sent back on Wednesday. That was likely just a paper transaction, so look for the AHL leading point scorer to make his season debut on Thursday.

Poturalski was an undrafted free agent out of the University of New Hampshire and has had a lengthy AHL career. He has played 322 career AHL games since 2016 and is currently leading the league with 34 points (12G / 22A) in 23 games with Chicago. He should make his season debut on Tuesday with Sebastian Aho and Seth Jarvis placed in COVID-19 protocol on Monday.

Toffoli will be out until at least early February, which means we likely won't see him until after the Olympic break. Look for Artturi Lehkonen to continue to play up the lineup while Toffoli is out. It may also mean an extended look at 2018 second-round pick, Jesse Ylonen.

It will be Kurashev's first game since November 28th. He was recently recalled after going to the AHL for a brief stint. He had two goals and one assist in three games with the IceHogs.

Toffoli was missing from Monday's practice session and head coach Dominique Ducharme said he's expected to miss at least a couple of weeks. Laurent Dauphin was recalled from the AHL to try and help replace Toffoli.

Klingberg was scratched from the Stars lineup last Tuesday but had plenty of time to get back healthy. Klingberg, who comes in with no goals and seven assists in 16 games, should be back on the top power-play unit vs. the Coyotes.

Toffoli missed Monday's practice due to an upper-body injury and is expected to be re-evaluated ahead of Tuesday's game vs. the Lightning. For now, consider him day-to-day and expect a more detailed update later Monday or on Tuesday.
