Jordan Eberle (leg) will miss his third-straight game Monday vs. Colorado.

Eberle remains day-to-day and will miss his third-straight game after being cut near a quad muscle by a skate blade at practice last week. The 33-year-old right-winger had been off to a slow start to begin his 2023-24 season as he has one goal, three assists, 28 SOG, nine PIMs and a -8 plus/minus through 13 games played. Brandon Tanev will be a game-time decision on Monday and could be an option to slot into Seattle's top six with Eberle out of the lineup.

Joey Daccord is in the starter's crease at Monday's morning skate.

Daccord will be the likely starter for the Kraken on Monday as they take on the Colorado Avalanche. The Kraken typically opt to start Philipp Grubauer against his former team, but after allowing four goals on 13 shots in the first period against the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday, the team will turn to Daccord. Daccord saved all nine shots he faced coming in relief of Grubauer for the final two periods on Saturday and has a 2.59 GAA and .913 SV% in seven games this season (2-1-3). The Kraken are +138 home underdogs against an Avalanche team that has lost five of their last seven games (2-5-0), being shut out three times in that span.

Grubauer will get the start on Thursday against his former team, marking his fourth start in the Kraken's last five games. In his last three games (2-1-0), Grubauer has saved 91 of 100 shots (.910 SV%). Grubauer has historically been very good against the Avalanche, most recently leading the Kraken to knock them out in the Western Conference Quarterfinals. The Kraken are +169 road underdogs on Thursday but could put up a strong fight against an Avalanche team that has been shut out in three of their last five games (2-3-0) and will be starting Ivan Prosvetov in net.

Ryan Winterton will make his NHL debut Thursday vs. Colorado.

Winterton was recalled from Coachella Valley (AHL) for the first time in his career and will make his NHL debut Thursday vs. Colorado. With Jordan Eberle (cut by skate) day-to-day, Wright finds his way into the Kraken's lineup for the first time this season Thursday vs. Colorado after being recalled from Coachella Valley (AHL) earlier in the day. The 19-year-old made his NHL debut last season and had a goal, an assist, four SOG, two PIMs and a +4 plus/minus in eight games prior to being sent back to junior. Eberle suffered a cut from a skate blade to the upper part of his leg in practice on Wednesday. The Kraken recalled Shane Wright and Ryan Winterton from the AHL and one of them will take Eberle's spot in the lineup.
