Daccord was the first goalie off the ice at Seattle's morning skate.

Seattle will aim to snap an eight-game losing skid on Tuesday and likely turn to Daccord in the crease. Daccord played well in relief on Sunday, saving 10 of 11 shots (.909 SV%) in a 5-1 loss to the Montreal Canadiens. In his outing before that, Daccord saved 24 of 26 shots (.923 SV%) in a 2-1 overtime loss to the Arizona Coyotes and saw his bid for a shutout end with less than two minutes to play in regulation. Seattle enters action as a -206 home favourite against the Anaheim Ducks.

The Kraken recalled Olofsson from Coachella Valley (AHL) on an emergency basis on Monday.

Olofsson will provide depth on the blue-line for the Kraken, who could be without Vince Dunn (upper-body) and Ryker Evans (lower-body) when they take on the Ducks on Tuesday. Olofsson has 62 NHL games to his name dating as far back as the 2015-16 season but is yet to make his season debut.

Evans (lower body) is out day-to-day after missing practice on Monday.

Evans left Sunday's contest vs. Montreal due to a lower-body injury after only 2:22 TOI and did not appear for practice on Monday. The 22-year-old rookie is considered day-to-day at the moment but will hope to be back soon as he looks to add to his eight points (1G/7A) and 30 SOG in 25 games played

Daccord will start in Arizona on Friday.

Daccord will be back between the pipes on Friday for the tail-end of Seattle's back-to-back after Philipp Grubauer got the nod in Vegas on Thursday. Daccord endured one of his worst starts of the season his last time out, allowing three goals on just four shots against the Sabres on Monday before being lifted in favour of Grubauer. Daccord has delivered an impressive .917 SV% across 43 appearances this season but a lack of goal support means he's only been able to secure 17 victories. He'll be looking to snap a personal three-game losing streak when he takes on the Coyotes on Friday.

Fleury has been reassigned to Coachella Valley (AHL) on Thursday.

Fleury played 12 games with Seattle last season but has spent the entirety of the 2023-24 campaign with the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL), tallying 29 points (5G / 24A) in 57 games. The 25-year-old Fleury was the third-round pick of the Montreal Canadiens in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

Seattle will turn to Grubauer for the second time in three games on Thursday against the Vegas Golden Knights. Joey Daccord started the last game for Seattle and allowed three goals on four shots before being replaced by Grubauer, who allowed three goals on 26 shots (.885 SV%) in an eventual 6-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres. Grubauer and the Kraken are +156 road underdogs against a Golden Knights club that defeated them 5-4 less than two weeks ago.
