Murray stopped 36 of 37 shots in the Penguins win in Montreal on Saturday. Murray has just one regulation loss in his last eight games, going 5-1-2 with a 2.71 GAA and .924 SV% over that span. Tonight he faces a Panthers team that is 0-1-3 in their last four games—Murray stopped 36 of 37 shots in a 5-1 win in his first start vs. Florida (Jan.8).
Montour was acquired from the Ducks on Sunday and will meet the team in Toronto but will not play on Monday. Montour will likely make his debut Tuesday in Philadelphia.
Montour was originally a second-round pick (No.55 overall) in 2014 and has become a trusted defenseman in Anaheim. Montour has five goals and 20 assists (25 points) while averaging 22:40 TOI/gm through 62 games this season. Montour projects to take Matt Hunwick’s spot in the Sabres lineup and will likely skate in their top-4.
Hayden was a healthy scratch on Saturday but the Blackhawks fourth line shuffle will continue on Monday. Hayden will replace Chris Kunitz and enters play with four points (3G / 1A), a minus-12 rating and 28 shots in 42 games this season.

Schultz continues to skate with the Penguins in practice but his status for Saturday’s game remains up in the air. Schultz has been out since October 13th but his return can’t come soon enough, with Olli Maatta out indefinitely.
