Jaroslav Halak started the last two games, but the Isles will come back to Gibson tonight vs. the Penguins—he stopped 47 of 50 shots in a 3-2 OT loss in Pittsburgh in his season debut a few weeks ago.

Murray has missed the last nine games with a concussion but will be an option in goal tomorrow. Murray will take part in the morning skate and the Penguins will see how he responds after the skate before making a decision.

Grubauer has not allowed more than two goals in nine straight games—stopping 206 of the last 216 shots (.954 SV%) that he has faced. The 26-year-old has a tough matchup but is 5-3-0 with a 1.90 GAA and .934 SV% at the Capital One Arena this season.

Hayden, 23, has picked up five goals and nine assists (14 points) in 22 games with the IceHogs this season. He spent the early part of the season in the NHL and is recalled with 15 points (4G / 11A) in 51 career NHL games.

Larsson has missed the last two games to be at his father’s funeral and will sit for a third straight game despite being back on the ice for Monday’s morning skate. Larsson will draw back into the lineup on Thursday.



With Thomas Greiss hurt and Jaroslav Halak losing five in a row, including last night, Gibson will make his first NHL start of the season tonight. The 25-year-old, former second-round pick has gone 18-11-1 with a 2.31 GAA, .909 SV% and four shutouts in 33 games with Bridgeport (AHL) this season. His first start comes against one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference.
