Murray (lower-body) will not be available on Monday.

Murray will miss his sixth straight game with a lower-body injury but was on the ice for the Penguins morning skate, so he is definitely getting close. Murray could be back in the Penguins crease on Thursday and could go head-to-head with Marc-Andre Fleury in Vegas.

The Penguins have placed Justin Schultz (lower-body) on IR.

Schultz left Tuesday’s loss to the Rangers after placing just 9:00 TOI and was placed on IR this morning. His movement to injured reserve means that Schultz will miss at least the next three games and is not eligible to return until next Thursday in Vegas. Frank Corrado has been recalled to take Schultz’s spot on the roster.

Grubauer will be between the pipes vs. the Sharks on Monday.

Grubauer allowed one goal on 26 shots in the Capitals’ win over the Lightning on November 24th. Despite Braden Holtby playing very well recently, Grubauer will start tonight vs. the Sharks. He is coming off of his first win of the year and San Jose comes in ranked third last in the NHL in scoring, averaging just 2.56 goals for per game.

Montour (elbow) is expected to be back in the Ducks lineup on Friday.

After a one-game absence with a hyperextended elbow, Montour is expected to replace the traded Sami Vatanen in the lineup on Friday. Vatanen’s exit makes Montour a more appealing fantasy asset and he comes into tonight with 13 points (6G / 7A) in 24 games this season.

The Oilers have placed Adam Larsson (upper-body) on IR.

The hits keep coming of the struggling Oilers, who lost their No.1 goaltender earlier in the week and now lose a top-pairing D-man. It’s unclear when Larsson sustained the injury, but for the time being they will re-insert Eric Gryba into the lineup and not recall anyone from the AHL.

Murray is week-to-week with a lower-body injury.

Murray left Monday’s game vs. the Flyers after a collision with Jakub Voracek. With Murray out, the Penguins may look to acquire a goaltender, but for the meantime they will roll with Tristan Jarry and Casey DeSmith as their goaltending duo. Jarry and DeSmith have a combined 312:45 of NHL experience.

Murray will start Monday vs. the Flyers.

Murray allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Penguins loss in Boston last Friday. Tristan Jarry had an impressive win vs. the Lightning on Saturday, but Murray is still expected to start tonight vs. the Flyers. Murray is 6-2-1 with a 2.33 GAA and .930 SV% on home ice this season.
